One wacky job I used to do had this statement in the agreement section: "Get yourself a substitute, who would do your job if, for any reason, you wouldn't be able to do it. Show him how you do the job, let him practice, so he can be prepared to fulfill your position whenever needed."
Yeah, right! It gave me a good laugh. I wish it could be that easy. Find a sub, give him the job to do. Study and take my exams. Or better off, give him my life to fulfill.
It's such a complicated issue, I don't know from where should I start. It's hilarious, alarming, deep and scary, all at the same time.
Sincerity, that's all it takes. Get down to business, be dedicated enough and you shall get what's there for you. And I'm saying "what's there for you", because nothing would guarantee you to get what you want.
It's really a damn world. Struggling and searching for the right way to live our lives. We're simply in a suffer-globe, racing against time and against eachother. Blood-suckers everywhere. So beware!
Covered by dust. All over me. Embracing me as hard as an embrace can be. Capturing one last breath out of me. Joined by our all-day-long host; the everlasting darkness. It has came especially for me. It's vivid and clear. Here I am, all alone, immersed in darkness and dust.
Lonesomeness is intolerable. All by myself, nobody's easing the pain. Light has dissipated. Love has departed. Family were all emotional, but now everybody has gone, they have forgotten all about me. Concerned about life, and how busy it can be. Friends acted like companions, but now, they just have left me all by myself to the soreness of what I've done. Tears have dried by now. Laughter is back to their faces, and I have became a history. Where did all the money go? All has gone. The joy of it is just another history. The whole universe has became too tight, just me and my darkness. Through the murk, I see my life has vanished infront of me. That is my end; covered by dust.
Fear is filling me up, it's here to befriend me. Sadness is my malady. Looking for steadfastness, it is truly my cure. Asking God, sincerely, He's my savior, please save me, all I'm asking for is your mercy.
To what extent would people change easily and cheerfully? My guess is that they simply wouldn't.
Fact is; people hate being corrected. It's a matter of dignity and self-conceit. To be able to change them, change has to originate first within yourself. If you want to change the person infront of you, and you were sincere enough, this person will eventually change.
My thought is: never give up. Find the best way to give advice, and master it. And, put in mind that "an advice in public is simply an insult". Think twice and thrice and even think again before giving an advice, ask yourself "Do I really care about this person who I'm about to give advice to?", if the answer was anything but "YES", then keep the advice for yourself.
